Here’s what happened yesterday.
My brother, his friend and I were being dropped off at Alton Towers by my mum at the drop-off lay-by. After my brother opened the door, a car drove into it, bending it backwards so that both right hand doors wouldn’t close properly, ruining both my mother’s plans for the day and damaging the car she had for less than a month. We were eventually rescued, dropped off at Derby station and took home by my dad, but as this was the first vehicular accident I’ve ever been present for, I was naturally shocked by the whole event.
I’d like to try and raise some money so that I can help to lessen the expense of her new car, so if anyone would like a commission, I’d be incredibly grateful. My prices are listed on my deviantART page.

17 years of One Piece: Art + Tears
If I had to choose one (among many) of the things that, to me, set Oda’s art apart from other shonen artists, it would probably be the way he draws his characters crying. I always loved that with him there was never any sugar-coating when the characters need to express their emotions. No sparkly tears, no beautiful, cute, crying faces. You get the ugly sobbing, the runny nose, the tears blocking the vision. Basically, you get the raw emotion and pain that the characters feel, which has a huge impact in more emotional scenes. And that’s, in my opinion, one of the things about Oda’s art that really deserves praise.
